Saudi Arabia has launched the first phase of the $20 billion Jeddah Central mega-development, a key part of Vision 2030. Managed by the PIF-backed Jeddah Central Development Company, the 5.7 km² project aims to transform Jeddah into a global destination. It will feature 17,000 residential units, 2,700 hotel rooms, and world-class entertainment and cultural attractions by late 2027. The project is expected to create 25,000 jobs and contribute more than $12.5 billion to the national GDP. Blending heritage, modernity, and hospitality, Jeddah Central symbolizes the Kingdom’s drive for sustainable urban and economic growth.
